Editorial Standards
How we research, review, and correct, so you can rely on every page.
Drone Nomad is an independent drone publication. Every article is the responsibility of a named, real person, not anonymous mass production.
Who stands behind the content
All content is written and edited by Kevin Kottek , who holds the EU remote pilot certificate (A1/A3) and flies drones himself. There are no invented authors and no invented credentials.
How we research
For facts, prices, and especially legal and regulatory statements, we cite primary sources directly: official bodies such as EASA, the German LBA, Austro Control, and the FAA, plus the applicable EU regulations. Concrete figures (fees, weight limits, validity periods) are linked inline to their source so you can verify them yourself.
No AI mass content
We do not publish automatically generated bulk articles. Content is created one topic and search intent at a time, reviewed by a human, and published only when it offers genuine, original value.
Accuracy and corrections
Drone law and technology change. We update articles with real modification dates and indicate when a page was last revised. If you spot an error, please report it via our contact page . We correct verifiable errors promptly.
Independence and affiliate disclosure
Some links are affiliate links (including Amazon Associates). If you buy through them, we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. This never influences our assessments: recommendations follow the facts, not the commission.
Not legal advice
Our regulation articles explain the rules as accurately and current as possible, but they are not legal advice. When in doubt, the official source we link to prevails.
